Vertikator Technology

Hatzenbichler vertikators, also known as grassland harrows are a versatile pasture air seeder every farmer should own. In a one pass operation these planters, seed, cover, and roll.

The specially hardened tines have been increased to 12 mm diameter for Australian conditions and these machines are now being used to sow into sprayed out country, cultivated country or direct into existing pasture. The tine system not only loosens the top soil, but also controls 70 - 80 % of broadleaf weeds and kills a large percentage of parasites living just under the surface.

Tine angle can be adjusted to suit soil types and the tine spacing can also be set to suit the situation. Where trash is a problem tine spacing can be increased to allow the trash to pass through more easily. These machines are also excellent in stones making them much easier to manage than a disk planter.

The onboard computer allows a simple and accurate calibration system and gives the operator full control direct from the cab. Excellent for oats, rye grass, and other fine seeds such as clover and medics etc. The 3 m machines are from $20.000 + GST and the 6 m machine retails at $50,000 + GST making these machines one of the most economical air seeders on the market today.

Drill Technology

Hatzenbichler direct drill air seeders start at 3 m and go all the way up to the 18 m Terminator multisower.

They offer almost an unlimited array of options in disk and tine options depending on soil and crop types.

We are currently developing a new minimum till machine in the 3 - 4 m width which will suit sowing direct into stubble and grasslands.
This planter should be in stock in the next few months.

Cultivation

Cultivation equipment is the backbone of the Hatzenbichler company.

Disk ploughs, scarifiers, subsoil delta ploughs, rotary hoes, harrows, or their camera steering inter row cultivation technology.

All machines are available in various sizes to suit the small farmers right up to broad acre cropping and with many options.
